North Fork Creek and Pole Creek, Owhyees. Did this one differently and did 3 different runs, with drives inbetween, totaling 26.3 and allowing us to see 3 different beautiful places in one day. Insanely warm and gorgeous January day for the first of my 2018 monthly wilderness marathons! Each month, i plan to run a trail marathon, and visit all 15 designated wilderness areas in Idaho by the end of the year. This month, it was Big and Little Jacks Creek wildernesses in the Owyhee Desert of SW Idaho with Gus (and Matthew Laye and Bridget Laye for the first bit). We ran an extra 1.5 miles, because we wanted to see more of these breathtaking canyons.
